was hoping someone could point me dealers who might be able to supply covers from 1978 Canada Stamp shows. They would be smaller in quantity mostly, and I have not seen hardly any on Ebay in many years.

These are frequently found on Buckacover.com in the category "Canada Philatelic/Event Covers".
Many new issues from foreign countries (including the USA pane of 8 "mini-animals" stamps) were launched at the CAPEX show in Toronto in 1978. FDC's of these issues will frequently be found in the various country categories on the Buckacover index page.
Here is one of the US FDCs (from my "sold" database)
