What is a good book to get which covers the US Washington-Franklin series of the early 20th century?

I am not sure if it's still in print, but the one I have and heartily recommend is Paul Schmid's "The Experts Book - A Practical Guide to the Authentication of United States Stamps - Washington . Franklin Issues 1908 - 1923" It was published by Palm Press, and has a copyright date of 1990.

The Experts Book - A Practical Guide to the Authentication of United States Stamps - Washington . Franklin Issues 1908 - 1923 is no longer in print. But I digitized it for the author (Paul Schmid) and he has it in on CD (PDF) for sale. If you need contact info let me know and I can hook you up with him.

Anyone who collects W/F will find valkue in this link, it identifies the 'source' stamps for any fake/altered W/F stamp; critical info before purchasing any of the more costly W/F stamps

re: Washington-Franklin Series Book?

Pardon my hijacking, but here is a short scholarly discussion of two portraits, one of Washington, and one of Franklin.
