They are certainly attractive, no doubt about that! They can be a bit of a problem to mount, though. I've got a number of Austrian stamps of similar materials. Lederhosen with Swarovski crystals, wood, glass, etc ... - sometimes you've got to get creative. The glass one I have mounted with removable tape hinges on the cardboard pouch that it came in, for instance.
Hi guys,
Okay, my head just exploded! As a newbie to collecting, I have never even dreamed of stamps made of these materials.
That is VERY cool!
Thank you for sharing these, as I am afraid that I may have NEVER seen these kinds of stamps otherwise.

Don't forget the Iceland stamp made with Cod skin.
Having been dormant in the hobby for the last couple of decades, I also was not aware these existed. I generally am not attracted to gimmick-type stamps, but I have to admit, I think these are pretty cool.
Who doesn't like a Cod-Skin stamp! LOL!
Hi Everyone;
I too dislike these stamps, mostly because I mount everything in conventional albums. So here is an idea, mount them in a shadow box about an inch (25.4mm) thick and use some nice knotty cedar for a frame. Show this wall hanging to non-collectors, and who knows, maybe a new collector is born.

Still just sortin'....

Then there are leather and wood postcards.

I'm currently breaking up a three volume Swiss collection for sale, and it's my first experience with the fabric and wooden stamps from the 2000's. I must say I actually like them!
