Block and copy the part of the comment you want to quote. Then paste it in your response. Block it, and then click on the QUOTE button.
If you know HTML, you can manually enter the quote on and off commands at the beginning and end of the quotation.
The discussion board platform we use doesn't have an automatic copy and paste for someone's entire comment. I am on discussion boards where that functionality is available, and I personally don't like it. You see post after post automatically copied by one person and then another after another. It just clutters up the works.
Thanks Michael!
Very helpful.

Hi all,
I cannot seem to figure out how to automatically (button press or something) quote another member's post.
I can do it all manually, by cutting and pasting, but is there an automatic way to do this?
Thank you,
JR
