"way to save these as still MNH at best, or with very slight disturbance to their gum at worse."
Geez Roy, you sound like my wife, the evasive optimist.

Yes, I agree with Roy!
Try this, take of the strip. Put the card in the freezer for about an hour. When you take out the card lightly bend it. Sometimes it works if the stamps are only stuck lightly.
I’ve had some luck with the freezer method, too. It seemed to work best if the stamps were not inside a bag or container. A freezer dehumidifies which helps. It’s worth a try.
Thanks for the freezer idea. I’ll test it out today and let you know if it works.
I came across a large pile of 102 cards with 1-2 nice stamps in each, marked "MNH".
I was able to get a couple out unscathed but the rest seem to be stuck to the paper inside the cellophane (?) - some can be coaxed out but others have gotten damaged in the process.
I assume the humidity contained in the card has caused the gluw to adhere to the paper and wonder if there is a relatively foolproof way to save these as still MNH at best, or with very slight disturbance to ther gum at worse.
Many thanks, Dave.
