Hello everyone, I am brand new to stamp collecting. A bit overwhelmed by the subject, but understand that knowledge takes research and time Happy I have been interested in stamps for a long time, but never knew where to start. Since I have a little extra time these days, I ordered an album that should arrive tomorrow in order to kickstart myself into collecting. I plan on browsing this site in order to see how people start their collections when starting from scratch. Always open to suggestions as well!

Welcome, and I'd like to suggest "packets" of all different stamps. You might want to select a couple of different countries to begin with, so as not to be overwhelmed. The "packets" of stamps on StampoRama typically average a few cents per stamp.
