Q/ What's wrong with this picture?

And, I mean that literally: what is *wrong* with this picture?

The family groups & couples are most likely people who breathe on each other 24/7, so no (new) harm done.

The couples could just as well be meeting in, uh, more confined spaces.

The photograph's narrow aperture / deep depth-of-field creates an annoyingly deceptive sense of crowding ... which just ain't there.

And it is not just this image. Every time I see imagery of beaches & parks, and estimate the actual physical distances between people, I fail to be alarmed.

Q/ Is it just me? Or, does this image set off your pandemic alarm bells?

Cheers,

/s/ ikeyPikey (who, speaking of Covid-19 threats, is living under a 5G antenna complex with a difficult-to-evacuate person, and will be buying a couple of fire extinguishers today)
