I wonder if 100 years ago from that issue, the local general stores complained about how mail order was going to destroy their business. The Sears catalog was replaced by a website.

Walmart just reported higher revenue with an increase on online sales.

A bit OT, but anyone remember the old JC Whitney auto parts catalog? The stuff they sold was amazing. I see they have a web presence, but I wonder if you can still get a Model A muffler?

What means "old" ?

Yeah, hours of fun; later, we had Brookstone to fire our imaginations.

JC Whitney DOES have a "universal" muffler catalogued for the Model A, although for $30, it looks nothing like the original. For a great reproduction, MAC's in Lockport, NY has a beauty... for $214!
