Just curious - If you suspended your favorite stamp in resin what would happen to it's value? Is a stamp embedded in a material valueless or is it just considered to be protected?
Harvey, keep in mind that the value of something is a function of the demand for it, the price the item can command from a potential buyer, the intrinsic value of the item itself.
For a bit of paper (stamp) there is no intrinsic value. How much would you personally be willing to pay for an embedded stamp, and how many others would also want it?
You mention the word "protected"-that is used to ensure that nothing will damage the protected item, and that the item is not itself damaged.. Once embedded that stamp is forever compromised.
Don't do it!

Hi all,
My wife just got me a resin kit!
It is SO cool! You can literally put anything suspended in clear acrylic plastic!
The first thing I thought of was how cool a favorite stamp might look suspended in plastic.
And then I thought of another hundred or so cool things that could go in resin.
Some people even made tiny aquariums like this one below.
