Greetings.
Scott indicates there is a Type II for this issue. But neglects to provide further details.
The base issue (sans overprint) is Scott 950 - 952.
Would appreciate learning more about the Type II variety.

I would be interested in this info, too.
I have the 950 base issue, the 1050 (as you pictured), and a 1050 with the additional G.O. overprint. If its of any help, all 3 of mine look to be the same base stamp, and my 1050's have the same typeface on the surcharge/overprinting as the one you have shown.
I'm a newb, so I may be missing a fine detail between my own 3 examples.
