Well,

I took my shot - I ordered three of the inverted Jenny sheets from USPS.

They arrived in today's mail....all three were the normal inverts.

But my wife and I had fun opening them!

Maybe we will order a few more just for some more fun.....will let you know soon!

Awesome issue. I love some of the newer "throwback" issues like this one, the Columbians, the Lewis and Clark stamp and several others. They would make a nice exhibit theme. Best of luck Randy in finding that special sheet!

Michael is the only one I know who has hit paydirt on the Inverted Jenny. Do we know what the count is on the number of error sheets that have been discovered, out of the 100 printed?

re: MODERN INVERTED JENNY

No one truly knows yet how many have been DISCOVERED;

we only know about those that have been reported.

The most recent report I have been able to find - from Linn's -

stated a total of 32 reported....but that was from an article that was dated 2018.

No telling how many have been found without reporting it yet.

Linn's had a follow-up article on this subject in the June 8, 2020 issue. Since November 2019, three more sheets have been reported, bringing the number of known and reported sheets up to 35. The last sheet reported was on April 8, 2020.

re: MODERN INVERTED JENNY

Thanks, Michael for the updated count.

So there could potentially be (but I doubt it) a total of

65 upright sheets still available to be found.

I would be curious to know how many total sheets are still available for purchase.

Has anyone seen any numbers to that effect?

To get one of this issue from the Stamps Fulfillment Center may may be fishing in the wrong pond. Seems like I remember reading that all the right-side-up sheets were distributed for sale at post offices. Anyone else remember seeing that announcement?

I saw that announcement.

But later on, I also saw an article that stated they were all pulled for lack of sales and

sent back to stamp fulfillment services and are now only available from there.

This was the last report I know of.

re: MODERN INVERTED JENNY

That's correct. After the audit, and a sound thrashing to those who were responsible for this "lottery", which was illegal, the Inspector General ordered all Jenny sheets returned to the Stamp Fulfillment Center. They were kept there for quite some time while the investigation continued. when completed, the Inspector General permitted the sale of the stamps to resume, but only from the Stamp Fulfillment Center.
