I have a letter with the slogan. I'll post it on here later today when I've found it.
Here's a picture of the postbox from an article in Bedford Today:

As far as I know, Captain (Sir) Tom is still keeping well.

Don't think he has passed away yet, not that I can recall seeing anything on the news anyway.
That is good to hear...An honourable man !

Here is the slogan postmark, not as clean as could be :-
He was made an Honorary Colonel by his old regiment and Knighted by Her Majesty the Queen so he is now "Sir Thomas Moore".
He is now 100 years old.

I just read on line that Queen Elizabeth will be Knighting Mr Moore on Friday July17th at Windsor Castle. Her first outing in public since COVID began. I
m hoping someone makes a few covers of Sir Moore.
Here is the BBc news article on his knighting.

In April/May of this year Royal Mail issued a special slogan postmark celebrating Captain Tom`s 100th birthday. They also painted the post box near his residence at Bedford Road in Marston Moretaine blue in honour of his feat of raising funds for health workers .
. I am wondering if anyone would have saved a sample of that slogan cancel or even have a photo of the postbox ? Please message me if you do. I would like to add these items to my pillarbox collection. I believe that Captain Tom has since passed away.
