Welcome!!
Welcome to Stamporama!
Welcome from Manitoba.
Welcome! I’m a Jersey guy but living in PA the last decade. Looking forward to moving home one day!
Now that i look at my German inherited stamp collection, I have decided to keep at least a good portion of it. Did not realize that they have so many beautiful stamps. So i ordered the Stanley Gibbons Catalog on Germany to learn more about their value and history. Naturally have not spoken much German since college and most of my family members are gone now. But I feel obligated to keep some of them to remember half my heritage & family heirloom.
Tony,
what a marvelous decision: honoring your family and history and doing it through stamps they gave you.
I've kept my Hungarian collection for precisely the same reason
David
Was a collector as a child (pure amateur) and got back into it in mid 2000's through 2012. Now close to retirement and need to keep myself busy. Inherited many stamps from late family members since then and now organizing the excess for sale. Most of the stamps willing to sell are from Germany, Israel and some other Europe countries and Asia. Keeping my U.S.A. collection which consists of numerous mint sheets, plate blocks and singles. Willing to trade stamps as well. Most of my selling or trade stamps are from Germany. So if anybody interested once i complete my inventory arrangement, contact me.
