Get ready for a nice long wait. I have a Package in L.A. since June 11.
"Update: 2 June 2020
Mail and parcels are being moved around the USA and managed through many international mail centres across the country. This is outside of the normal operating procedures, and is so the United States Postal Service (USPS) can manage the very high volumes.
Los Angeles - is processing 50% more than they do in Christmas peak period, and are experiencing significant delays.
JFK (New York) & Miami - is up to date and processing normally.
San Fransisco - is handling heavy volumes and have moved international work to domestic mail centres outside of the normal International Mail Centres to cope with high volumes. Customers should expect delays.
Chicago - Significant delays are still being seen through the Chicago gateway. We're diverting traffic away from this gateway in consultation with United States Postal Service.
Customers should expect delays across the USA, some are significant as USPS continues to deal with heavy increases in volumes."
"This is the latest one:-
The USA, like many places around the world is receiving huge mail volumes and has been affected in the same was as all logistics operations with reduced staffing and social distancing requirements which reduce efficiency.
We’re monitoring the movement of mail though all US entry points, and have opted to move some traffic from those where delays are more evident."
On July 9, 2020 I sent a first class international package to the United Kingdom. Packages internationally depending on country are tracked through delivery. My package was delivered July 15, 2020 six days after mailing. Not bad considering. Everybody just needs more patience than normal. Things will get better.
Here in Thailand we still are only sending mail to Canada and the US by surface mail and the express (courier like) EMS. No airmail at all. Airmail to much of Europe is working again. The link below is the latest post office statement from the 1st July. I guess they are updating monthly. (Go to page 2 to see the English version.)

It is understandable that the transport of packages and correspondence should be delayed by many days.
I don't understand why Tracking History doesn't clearly specify where the package is? in Chicago? or sent to Romania?
I think that once the package arrives in Romania, it no longer benefits from Tacking History. But I don't know if it left Chicago.
I present the route of this package (if I understood correctly):
Okinawa- Tokyo- San Francisco??? - Tokyo???- Chicago- ???
Does it seem credible to you?
Patience, yes, but what about this:
I buy from at least four sellers in South Florida and often send several envelopes out on the same day. Usually 3-5 days and all but one are there and by the sixth or seventh day the envelopes with the stamps are arriving back here in North Texas. One seller will wait a week or so and then ask if I am alive and recall getting the invoice. We chat and let a few more days pass before I send a second payment envelope off into the abyss.
This seems to happen with the one address frequently.
I can understand that there are several variables with international mail, but the addresses concerned are all in the same general area.
Patience indeed. .
Yes we need patience and a lot of it!
I am waiting on all kinds of mail and it seem the situation everywhere is not improving.
My Dad shared his unfortunate experience mailing a single cover from Bulgaria to someone in the States who after waiting for about 20 days filed a non receipt claim with Ebay. What Ebay did is not clear, but they eventually suspended my Dad's account for "suspicious activity". I know my Dad will lose his cover and mailing costs, as I do not think the buyer will pay the refunded amount back once the item arrives.
Frustrating indeed.

I'm waiting for a package sent from Japan via USPS.
Since July 4, no track message has appeared.
I am not familiar with the USPS messages, does the last message mean that the package has left for Romania or is the boarding pending?
The situation of COVID in Romania is getting worse and I don't know if the transport will not be stopped.
