Condition is pretty important for a booklet. The top price will be for one that has all of the panes complete and with no damage. The price would tend to drop for anything that is missing or damaged. There is not a huge market for booklets, but I would suggest you look for the one you have on ebay and see what it is selling for and note the condition. Your value would be a fraction of what a good one might sell for.
These booklets are a wonderful history. I have one of 5/- however the KGVI 1d blue on the back the watermark of the crown is upside down. Is this normal? The booklet contains all unused stamps and consist of: 12 @ 2 1/2d Queen Elizabeth II red.6 @ 2d KG VI brown. 6 @ 1 1/2d green QEII. 6 @ 1d blue KGVI watermark upside down. 6 @ 1/2d KG VI orange. The booklet is pristine and all stamps complete.
Booklets come with Upright;Inverted and sideways watermark. Inverted and sideways tend to fetch a premium.

Thank you so much Brechinite I found them. Confounded that from 5/- they are now worth circa £30. That is a huge amount. I am most grateful for your knowledge and kindness. Best wishes. I loved the Goons. Specially Michael Bentine.
When I was growing up if I had 5/- in my pocket I could take a girl to the movies and we could have a Haggis supper afterwards.
I couldn't do that for £30 today!!
Brechinite if you had offered a haggis supper I would have fled, but well done for escorting the young lady to the pictures. 5/- eh? I guess you are over 40 then?
" I guess you are over 40 then?"
Just to be a fussbudget, the watermarks
are put in the paper during manufacture,
and the sheets are printed on the paper
so it is the printing that is inverted
and so on.
Full sheets all have the image in the
same direction. Booklets are created from
panes that are not always placed in what
we would call the same upright direction.
The specialized catalogs show the different
ways the panes are assembled for printing.
Coils may also printed "Upright" or "inverted"
as well as sideways which accounts for the
interesting variations.
Picked up this green 2/6 booklet today at an estate sale. It's the BD16/BK49 pale KGVI version, numbered 121 (June of 1942), with Cosmos light bulb advert on the cover. I see that some of these booklets can be very pricey, but this particular one is missing 5 of the 2-1/2d, the remaining stamps are stuck to the advertising pages, and the 1/2d at top right has a small patch peeled off above the crown (which is stuck to the opposite page). I am curious as to just how much these condition issues devalue the booklet.
