Yes definitely Brazil. Top of circle reads Republica.

The REPUBLICA markings are all over stamps from Portugal and Portugese India.

Maybe so, but it also has "BRAZIL" printed on it.

And is that not "réis;" I see as well? My eyes have gotten very bad these last months, but "réis;" would bring me
to the Brazil listing first.
