Some will, for sure, but I suppose that's true of any occupation or profession. But Susan and I are really impressed by our letter carrier, Andreas, who works long hours, is impeccably polite, and provides very personal service. See my post in another thread, earlier today, about smoke here in Vancouver.

Bob:
When a small business company walks into a real Canada Post office (not an RPO) with four parcels (under 20 kg each), properly addressed, and they tell us to take it to the plant on Alta Vista, you have to wonder if the people at Canada Post have any concept of customer service.
I argued that this is a Canada Post office and I can take my mail to any Post Office in Canada. They begrudgingly accepted them.
I stand by my statement.

I have sent 2 envelopes to Brookes Alberta. One was sent a month ago and the second was sent 10 days ago. neither have arrived. And yes the address is correct. The one who has been waiting for their arrival was told that there is a 2-3 month backlog in Medicine Hat. Anyone know why or have a similar problem?

The Gulf Islands have also been added to this list of regions affected by mail suspensions. Our local post office says the suspension will not be lifted until air quality levels improve.

I will withhold my personal comments (LOL)
