This very scarce strip of 8 1949 half-penny kangaroos with no watermark shows dry inking affecting the three stamps at left. The first two stamps showing an extreme variation of ink stripping.
I also have a block of 6.

Hi Rib

Wish it was mine, Hope all is well

I wish this covid lockdown in Victoria would ease a lot more. No stamp club meetings to attend, so no interesting items to buy

Hi Horamakhet

Haven't heard from you for awhile. It's a variety you don't see every day. I have a few more quite rare stamps to post soon.

re: A strip of 8 1949 ½d kangaroos showing extreme dry inking

Hi Rob

I found a child's collection of old KGV stamps, nothing exciting in it, their is this block of six stamps, used, but do I soak it off the piece or leave it as it is. They are not valuable

I have been working on my Egyptian Book catalogue. I am putting a colour picture of each book, and then a description of the item, Author, publisher, dated published and edition. So far I have listed 680 books. Then I will do a separate catalogue for the magazines, postcards, etc
Regards

Horamakhet

Hi Horamakhet

Leave it on the paper. The stamps are tied and it will only damage the CDS. Good luck on your book, it should be a very interesting read.
