Greetings. I came across the below items in some stamps I recently got. They sort of look like promotion pieces for stamps . . . . or something. I am not too sure. They are almost like mini posters, and they seem to date back to the 1930s and 1940s. I have a number of them and the interesting thing (I thought) is that they all have gummed backs to them, just like postage stamps. Again, any help from the wonderful members of this site would be most appreciated. Thank you!

re: What are these exactly?

These are known as souvenir sheets and these in particular were issued in conjunction with major stamp exhibitions.

re: What are these exactly?

I noticed the stamps were not canceled but I wasn’t sure if they were good for postage or not. They are not perforated and there seems to be no way to remove / separate them for use?

Yes, they are good as postage and can be attached
in entirety to larger envelopes. I believe the
stamp it self can be used individually but that
would ruin what little value they have as entire
Souvenir Sheetlets.
Such issues can spice up a page of otherwise boring

violet individual stamps.
