Yes, a good song & great lyric of John & Yoko's life. It was shocking when they broke the bad news in the middle of a football game - very historic & unforgettable. By the way, I wonder why Yoko was cropped out on this stamp. Does Postal community dislike Yoko?

Until 2005, the UK had a rule against depicting living persons (other than the Royals, of course) on their stamps, much like the US had until 2011. This set is from 1999, so Lennon would be eligible. But Yoko? Oh, no.....

This is a John Lennon signed autograph album belongs to John's Murderer. It was sold for $922,000 yesterday.

It has long been my belief that such unpeople ( Mass murderers especially.) should have their names blacked out of newspapers, magazines and books as well as bleeped from the airwaves whether analog or digital. If necessary for a report or story to be comprehensible, "unperson #1" and "unperson #2" should suffice. In ensuing stories they should get whatever different numbr suits an author, but never the same.

John Lennon past away 40 years ago today. That night shattered many Beatles fans around the world. Here's a beautiful stamp of John with his wife - they are holding a wedding certificate. You might want to have this in your collection if you are a British stamp collector.
