There is microprinting that reads "2021" on these stamps.
Is it just me that finds these stylized images horrible and difficult to interpret, apart from the grotty colours.
Probably.
I would have questioned the whole idea of issuing stamps on a Chinese thematic with Chinese writing on them. Are we trying to be the next Hong Kong? Who else is doing that?
StampWorld shows that only 50,000 of these sheets were printed. They could have become somewhat valuable, if they looked different from the stamps issued before.
I was disappointed with this issue, a real lack of creativity and originality.
I was hoping to see the new stamp designs of 2021.
But I found this MS instead. They also had booklets of the 12 stamps in their SA versions. I am yet to compare these to the similar stamps they issued over the past 15 years to see if there is any difference. Pretty confusing and unnecessary.
