Cinderellas or “fantasy” stamps.
Google “Clive Feigenbaum” for addtl background.
They show up in Bangkok sometimes. If I were making money out issuing stamps for Nagaland I would keep in mind that the Nagas were pretty good head hunters as the Japanese soldiers found out in the war.
Nagaland
Stamps ‘issued’ by Nagaland are considered Cinderellas, as while Nagaland is a real place (a state in India), stamps inscribed with that name were produced for sale to collectors by the colourful English stamp dealer Clive Feigenbaum, rather than for postal use.
I had no idea it is an actual region, always tossed them in the same box as Dhufar, Staffa and others, in order to forget about them. Unfortunately there are too many unscrupulous
"entrepreneurs" hoping to empty our wallets.
