Hi to all

Just being pedantic.

Another one of 40 cent specials.

The ACSC page 8/159 387e says Red spot left of Flynn's grave, but this one has a black spot in the same position, maybe comes in different spot colours?

Also on the top two of the block, one has a white spot just to the left top of the boulder and it looks that it has a coloured blob just over the top of the U of Australia, and the other next to it has a black spot just left of the top of the boulder,

Regards to all.

The ACSC is inadequate for the 1960's onwards, and there's a number of unlisted varieties on this stamp. I think you'll find that the dot is dark green, not black.

You can also find a red spot on the nurse's backside, and multiple blue hairlines across the stamp.

Hi Dave

Will have a closer look.
Who do you use for 1960 onwards?

There's no worthwhile reference for 1960-5, but for the decimal period I use David McLeary's "Australian Decimal Varieties"
