Canada Post has sent out stamped postcards. Each household has received one .
English households received the cards with English on top and French on the bottom.

French residents in Quebec received the same cards but with the French message on top and the English on the bottom. There are 6 in French and 6 in English.

If anyone has extra cards from Quebec and would mail them to me I would appreciate the kindness. I am hoping to collect a set of 12. My address is in the membership. Or message me I can send English to anyone wishing as I have a few extra.
Thanks Cheryl

First I've heard of them, and I live in Quebec.
When did you receive yours?

Hi Dennis,

Here is a link from the Canada Post website https://www.canadapost.ca/cpc/en/our-company/news-and-media/corporate-news/news-release/2021-02-25-canada-post-sends-every-household-a-free-prepaid-postcard that explains what they are doing.

The press coverage was pretty positive I remember seeing something about on CP24 (Local GTA News Station) the week before. I received our card in the mail last week.

All the best,

Alyn

If anyone would be willing to post images of any, and eventually all, of the 12 postcards, I could guarantee a "like" on your posts! Thumbs Up

You learn something new every day! Does 'Je m'ennuie de toi' really translate as 'I miss you'? Doesn't it mean 'I'm bored with you'? and doesn't 'I miss you' translate as 'Tu me manques'?

I used to think I was quite good at French ... 60 years ago.

You learned Parisian French. This is Quebecois French... a little different. Sort of like Canadian and British English.

Cheers!
