General Philatelic/Identify This? : unidentified Indian feudal state

I can't identify this small and strange looking stamp. The scott identifier leads me to India, Jammu and Kashmir, but that is wrong. I did find a stamp like this listed under Faridkot, but it has the wrong colour. Any India experts around that can tell me what this is?

It's Faridkot, but bogus. Faridkot kept producing "stamps" for many years after they should have stopped, purely for sale to collectors.
