Kudos to you, you old dog.
Still have your BABY socks:

RJAN, Thanks for the shout out. Tonym I'm not sure about your reference, but it is appreciated none the less. To both guys, thanks for the comeback.
Old dog Dan
And here I thought I was old being born in '55!
Dear BrightenPete-think of it this way-you are a certified antique!!
Best,
Dan
As an antique dealer I know this: At 100 you are an antique, before that you are merely a collectible!! The only thing that is different are vintage cars, 25 years for an antique.

(Afterthought-Tonym-I have socks older than you!!)
Dear Harvey-you are right and I stand corrected! We are not antiques, we are collectables.
With respect,
Dan C.
Darn! My father-in-law is younger than you! And I am 67! He's not going anywhere, as I am sure, neither are you.
Dan,
SOR membership is fortunate to have your years of wisdom as our ombudsman.
I'm starting to feel like a little kid at the young age of 69 years. I've been telling myself for quite a while now that I would be happy with 80 years at reasonable health. You guys are starting to make me realize that I should up that number!
May I offer a bit of nonsense?
Pondering a bit upon the observations of MusicMan and Harvey I have come to a somewhat startling conclusion-that I may be a wiseguy, and collectable!! Who knew!
And so dear readers, if with age comes wisdom, might you be also. That said, perhaps we ought to unite as "Old Geezers" under the label of wiseguys. (Just thinking out loud- Maifia please ignore.)
Best,
Dan C.
1932 was the George Washington Bicentennial! One of my collections!
Me? In stamp collector years I'm just a youngster from 1958!
I wondered how many of our members were born before 1932?
Thanks,
Dan C. (born 1932)
