Given your time cut off for stamps you collect, did you buy the catalogs for new prices?

Partly for the new prices but, also, just to keep up a bit with the stamps that are being issued. As a review of the changes in pricing I went through and priced out my existing USA collection and saw quite a bit of moving around in prices but overall everything stayed within 8% of my last attempt at pricing by the catalog for the 924 stamps that currently make up that collection.
The new catalog has the twelve separate books whereas the the 2014 version that I have been using was divided into six books and I will admit that handling of the books is easier because of the change.
I decided that building lists of what is actually in my world wide collections, both the 1840-1963 International based collection as well as a one volume 1930 copyright International album, with current catalog estimates would be somewhat entertaining as well. It will definitely give me a chance to review the collection in detail as it is easy to get caught up in just new acquisitions without enjoying to a degree what is already there.
On a side note I have just reached 33,116 different uncancelled stamps in the 1840-1963 albums which gives me just slightly under 4 out of every 10 stamps required for completion of the albums. The Part I album is at 13,809 mint stamps which makes for 40.16% completion. That album contains the largest number of tip-ins which add another 683 stamps to its count for 14,492 stamps in the Part 1A1-1B2 pages. The Part V album remains in last place with 1 out of every 3 stamps required for its completion and 3,914 of 11,663 stamps for completion. That album has an additional 39 stamps as tip-ins for a total of 3,953 stamps in the album.

New arrival today via USPS is my Scott Postage Stamp Catalogue 2022 Volumes 2A and 2B. I received a billing notice for the second pair of catalogs on 5/1/2021 with delivery occurrng on 5/7/2021.
In addition, the new Scott Stamp Illustrated Identifier 1st Edition for "Identifying postage stamps without English words" was included in the shipment.

My new Scott Postage Stamp Catalogue 2022 Volumes 1A and 1B arrived this afternoon. It will be replacing a 2014 version over the next six months as new releases of the volumes arrive.
