Thanks to all the generous SOR supporters who have helped push the project well past the ONE-THIRD mark towards our goal of 1.5 million stamps collected (one for each child whose life was "thrown away" in The Holocaust").

Over the past few months, I put up a bunch of stamps from my old original "The Hoard" - generally selling full album pages for low prices to get stamps into other members hands while minimizing the more time-consuming Approvals pages and individual stamp Auctions. While that strategy may have reduced per-unit revenues, it certainly saved me a ton of time!

This effort helped raise over $175 towards acquiring more Holocaust-related stamps for our "Philatelic History of The Holocaust" stamp album. I am hoping to use this money as leverage with a Canadian seller of "Judaica" (including stamps) as eBay is proving too costly with high mailing costs being added to small purchases.

A special thanks to Vic Deacon ("sheepshanks") who donated stamps, then bought some stamps in our fundraiser (and subsequently donated 3x the value!!!)
