When a seller shows a catalogue value in their auction listing, they should state the catalogue & the year of the catalogue they are using to determine values, i.e. Scotts, Michel, Stanley Gibbons, etc.

Without this information a catalogue value shown in a listing could be either inflated or undervalued in relation to a current catalogue.

As a potential buyer do not assume that a catalogue value shown in an auction listing is a current catalouge value, unless the seller specifically states where he/is has obtained this information.
