I saw some Italian stamps in the auction, overprinted with "Stampalia". What is it,or what does it mean?

Stampalia is the Italian name of one of the 12 Aegean Islands called the Dodecanese. They were occupied by Italy after world war 1.
Stampalia is called Astypalaia in Greek.
