Uni-Safe Clear Stamp Mounts #44 (20 Strips) states on the package 'For Stamps 44mm high'. Unisafe manufactures different types of stamp mounts but their sizing is based on the heighth of the stamp you wish to place in the mount. The sizes run in increments from 20mm right up to 265mm.
Here's the 'gauge' for Uni-Safe Stamp Mounts

Here's the 'gauge' for Scott mounts

Here's the 'gauge' for Scott or Prinz mounts
http://stamp-mounts.com/mounts-clear.html They also have a Scott Number - Mount Finder at the top of the page where you type in the Scott # and it gives you the Mount you require.
I hope this information is helpful.

Dean, According to my stamp mount gauge, all you need to do is add 5mm to the size of the stamp, perf tip to perf tip, to find the correct mount size. That's what I usually use as a guide and it does work, for me.
Good luck!
Mike
I was wondering if anyone could tell me where I might find a gauge for showing the size of the mount and not the size of the stamps. I hope this makes sense.
Best Regards,
Dean
