Hi Stampaholic -

I'm glad to hear you've got a project in the works. In the "Members" area of the site are two options "Articles Workshop" and "Image Upload" which together make up our toolkit. Within Articles Workshop you can choose to "Add an Article" which will bring you to an online editor where you can start working on your article. Articles do need to be approved before final publication, but we're not really the article police, mostly just gatekeepers to help make sure no spammers or scammers sneak in. Myself and others are available to help with your article at any point along the way. If you (or any other members) need technical assistance or just want someone to have a look at a draft and give you some feedback, send me a message on our internal system.

For more detailed information I'd direct you to a couple of articles I posted a few years back:

Just send a hand drawn draft of what you want plus any images to: Ralph, our article master, he'll do a sample for you with your name on it and you can approve or dissapprove as you see fit.

re: How to do an article.

Sorry for any misunderstanding – I didn’t realize you were waiting for me.

Looking back at my earlier post, I’m afraid I might have confused people. The “approval” that I referred to is not a formal process, but part of the online editor. In order to prevent people abusing the tool, when using the online editor members can’t directly publish – they select a button which says “Save and Set Ready to Publish” and then one of the administrators gets a notice that something is waiting in the queue.

As Perry and Dan have noted, our free services range from moral support to editorial consulting to typing. All members are encouraged to write and publish on philatelic topics. All members are also encouraged to contact me directly. My e-mail address is in the member database or you can PM me using our excellent custom messaging system (thanks Tim!).

Best Regards,
Ralph
