The stamp is Scott #709. It is part of a set that was issued from 1990-1994.
Thanks for that Michael, as usual I suppose the set was lumped together .It is rather disconcerting when you have a stamp with an issue year on it and you can't find it.
Thanks again Brian
Brian:
When it (stamp identity?) happens to me, and it seems to be happening with increasing frequency,
it makes me feel vulnerable.
"...rather disconcerting" is a term I'd use if I found two stamp hinges stuck together.
You must be on very good terms with St. Agatha, patron saint of philatelists
- a stamp collector at peace with the world.

P.S. Oh, yes, I've received a lot of invaluable help with stamp identification
from Stamporama members. The wealth of philatelic knowledge on tap within
Stamporama buffers my vulnerability.

Why would you feel vulnerable? It's not our fault the Catalogue producers can't get it right ,well to my way of thinking anyway.
Only the other week I emailed Scott's publisher to point out an error in there 2012 catalogue .I was informed that it will be corrected in the 2013 edition.
By the way ,yes St. Agatha and I are on very good terms.I have gotten to know her very well the past few years, since I retired ,nothing is a rush any more( except when my wife has a doctors appointment and leaves it till the last minute)AAAGH!!!
Hi All
I have looked high and low through Scott's 2008 catalogue to find this stamp.I found it right away in my 2010 Gibbons. In there it is one of a pair and they have them listed as the first issue for 1992,SG 783/784.
Could some one give me the current Sc # and value please.
Brian
