This is the second favor for my nephew. At this point, I'm SUPER tired and cross-eyed from looking at stamps tonight. And everytime I yawn or accidentally huff, I blow all the South Africa stamps I mentioned in my other post, all over the desk. So I'm pleading for just a quick look-up by someone on these 4:

All I'm looking for is Scott #'s and a year. Thanks again in advance.

I know C won't be worth anything except as a space filler due to the tear, but it's still interesting to know what he's got there. Thanks for the information so far.

re: Gibraltar: stamp identification

OK, well I now know that I would have never found some of these as I can onle research up to 2009. This is what we have so far:

Stamp A: Scott #1116 - Issued ____, _____ 2008 - 2011 SCV $0.20
Stamp B: Scott #____ - Issued November 7, 2011 - ____ SVC $____
Stamp C: Scott #____ - Issued ____, _____ 2010 - ____ SVC $____
Stamp D: Scott #1126 - Issued February 15, 2008 - 2011 SCV $4.00

Can anyone else fill in a few of those blanks? I just want to give my nephew as much information as possible. Thanks so far for the help everyone.

Stamp B is Scott #1309. Lazy-ass Scott only gives a set value.

Using Alyn's "Stamp Value Pro-Rater", a used value of $6.50 is indicated. The stamp will appear in the 2013 catalog to be issued in June.

re: Gibraltar: stamp identification

The formula Scott seems to use is convert the currency into US currency then double it, so I get $6.44, which agrees with as Alyn's method.

In my opinion postally used Gibraltar higher values are a good find.

Jill, thanks for posting the date. That let me zero in on when it was listed as a new issue.

Stamp C is Scott #1244. If it was not damaged, catalog value would be $1.90.
