As far as I know #Z305 was issued April 28, 1999 as one of the stamps in a strip of 4 different stamps (#Z304 to #Z307). Scott #Z376(80y Katsura Beach) was issued on November 15, 1999 in a sheet of 5 pairs #Z376 and #Z377 (Sakamoto Ryoma).
I scanned a copy of the sheet stamps and the self adhesive stamps and they are shown below.
Sakura catalogue lists the sheet stamps AS #R303 (Lilac) and #R371 (Katsura Beach).
Does anyone have any idea when these two self-adhesive stamps were issued? I have checked through the 2012 Scott catalogue and I cannot find any reference of their existence.

When I look at the cancel of one of the stamps it reads 22. This may very well be Heisei 22, or 2011 in our count. This would make it a very recent stamp, one that is probably too new for Scott 2012. But please note that this is just my educated guess. Perhaps some Googling may help to bring more light into this matter.

My JSDA catalog lists those two, but like Scott nothing about the SA issues.

Starting in 2008, the prefecture issues were nationalized and put under the control of the Japanese postal service. Since the prefecture stamps are now available nationwide, starting with the 2008 issues, Scott lists them in the main Japan listings. When the 2013 catalog is issued in June, you may find it there if the stamps we reissued as self-adhesives.
Yes, more inconsistencies with Scott.

I have checked the 20l0, 2011 & 2012 issues on the http://yushu.or.jp/ website and so far have come up with no further information on these two self-adhesive issues. These are not listed in the Sakura catalogue either, so it's not just the Scott catalogue who has not listed these two stamps.
If I eventually find a date of issue I'll post the information here.
What I find interesting when sorting stamps, is that a particular issue jumps up at me and says 'I'm not identical to the original issue of this stamp'.

If I jotted it down correctly, I got it from the Nov 21, 2011 issue of Linn's Stamp News in the new issues section. If it isn't in that month, then look one month back/forward. I didn't write down the page number, but it was probably in the 60+ range.

I came across two Japanese Prefectures that appear to be self-adhesive stamps.
