Hi All,

I have a German stamp - 450 Years Augburger Religious Freedom.
It is similar to Scott # 2353, but Scott 2353 is for a stamp with perfs
and the one I have is die cut. No date on the stamp, but the Scott 2353 is from 2005, so this one should be from 2005 and after.
Would like to know the Scott # and year for this die cut version.

Thanks in advance.

re: Modern German stamp ID help

The Scott # is 2508 - Issued November 1, 2008 - 2011 Scott CV MNH $1.40 - Used $0.70
Die Cut Perf. 11-1/4

The die cut stamp for #2305 was issued on the same date and it is Scott #2509 - (same CV's as above).

I do not have the 2013 Scott catalogue for current prices.

Thanks so much Liz,

Just trying to catalog a bunch of German stamps so I can do some trading or offer for auction, etc and I only have a Scotts Catalog for Germany that is 2009 and it only goes up to #2475.

The inscription on the stamp is related to the Peace of Augsburg, also called "the Augsburg Settlement". ("Frieden" means "peace".)...g
