I was wondering if anyone has any info on these stamps, I have been to 4 Libraries and none have any scott's or Stanley and Gibbons copies for hire. I have managed to find a fair bit of info online for most of my Australian stamps. But am having trouble finding info on these - not even sure if they are all Australian. Hopefully I can save enough over the next couple of months to purchase a Scott's.

Any stamp that has a cameo of the Queen or only the Queen or previous monarchs are Great Britain. I don't have my catalogues in front of me but I thought this tidbit would help you out.

Hi
First stamp on the second row and the last stamp on the third row are from Great Britain,which I think off hand is the only country that does not have their name on their stamps.
All the rest are basically Australian the first stamp and the last stamp on the top row are from the Australian Antarctic Territory or AAT for short the third stamp on the second row is from Queensland this was before Federation when each state had it's own postal administration .This changed with the issue of the Kangaroo and Map series in 1913.

Hi, Kitekat...
For someone new to stamp catalogs, it can be confusing. Scott catalog lists the first stamp in your picture as Australia #L6 from the Australian Antarctic Territory.
However, in the catalog you cannot find a picture of this stamp. It looks like L1, but does not have the dark circle around the 5c and it is blue in color, not brown. By reading a little further down, you find a stamp with the same A1 design listed as 5c dark blue with notes at the bottom about it not having the dark circle around the 5c.
Also, if you had stamp number L3, the 1sh dark green, you might think that it would look like the pictured 2sh stamp because it is design A2. But that is not the case. You need to refer to the 'Designs' comments to see that the 1sh stamp actually has a design showing a dog team and an iceberg, and it is vertical in shape.
However, this is one of the things that stamp collectors enjoy the most; tracking down the identification of each item like Sherlock Holmes.
