Save the image somewhere on your computer.
Go to "Member's Area" in the "Home" menu.
Click "edit" to edit your profile.
Towards the bottom, there is a section to upload an image.
Browse to find the image or type in the url.
Hit "Upload" and then "Save" at the bottom of the page.
You should be all set!

An avatar is a graphical representation of a user. The most frequent usage for "avatars" are on chat boards and discussion boards. Go up 5 or 6 posts and Lisa Grant gives instructions on loading an avatar.

That's Rudy (short for Evinrude because he purrs like an outboard motor). Not a big help around the stamp desk but good company otherwise.
