Handling these fragile bits of paper can be nerve-racking. So, we use devices called 'Stamp Tongs'.

Here is a short article that expalins what they are, why you should use them and what might be best for you.

One interesting point that I didn't see explained is that the word "Tweezers" is Brit speak for what we Colonials call "tongs" and should never be confused with the type of tweezers used for eyebrow plucking, extracting glass slivers from an open wound or other chores requiring a strong knurled grip.
