I have neither 2012 nor 2013 Scott.
Linn's 19Dec2011 edition lists GB#2928 as issue on 15Sep2011 and describes it as simply "gymnastics".
Hope that's helpful. Hopefully someone with a recent Scott can either confirm or give more detailed description.
Thanks Kim, "Gymnastics" is close enough.
Charlie
Scott 2012 only goes up to GB 2865.
Cheers,
Peter
Thanks, Guys.
One of our sellers had put up a bunch of the Summer London Olympics issues some time ago , postally used. As the lots I won were being processed for mailing a small, but definite tear was noticed in the stamp so it was not included and a note was, saying that as soon as a good replacement could be found it would be replaced.
That was fine by me, and some time passed, long enough for me to have forgotten about what was essentially a $0.40 or so item, at most. Then last week the seller found the note and could not remember either, if he had sent it so he asked if I had received it. (Thinking that the note should have been thrown away long ago ). However, I had no idea what it was beyond the Scott Number, which was useless to me as, first off I am not big on catalog numbers and I use Gibbons anyway
Thus, with the description "Gymnastics" I was able to look at the set and see if there was a Gymnastics stamp in the set or a space.
.
Would someone with a recent Scott's Catalog look up and advise me which sport this number stamp is;
GB # 2928 2012 Olympic Sports
Thanks,
Charlie
