Hi! Here are a few soviet stamp blocks from the 1950's.They are full of history and the colours are just splendid! I beleive it concerns the communist youth (Komsomol).

Yes, nice issue. Scott #2135 - 2140. Issued for the 40th anniversary of the Young Communist League.

Yes stamps do teach you so many things about history (propaganda,totalitarism ideologies....). I have the same series concerning Hitler's youth.And even the the islamic republic of Iran. Some of those iranian stamps are clearly anti-US or anti-Israel. I'll have to upload some of them for you to see.
