Thanks for sharing a great story!!!

I read the article and could almost feel the excitement of a real find !!!
It sure got me looking at my 2¢ Green QVs for signs of "Laid Paper."
Since no one heard me scream, you know how that turned out.
Nope, didn't hear a scream, so I guess no one has one.
What really bugs me, is that great big HAMILTON postmark. That stamp could have been in a sales circut book that I might have seen. I know they didn't say where the stamp was found, but our Hamilton Stamp Club has about 25 books of Canadian stamps, plus the other 10 or 12 local clubs in Southern Ontario bring their club books to our Hamilton Stamp show.
So that stamp could have been right under my nose many times, and I didn't actually see it. And if I did, I didn't pay any attention to it. Do you hear the sobs.
Doodles:
Your stamp club is the GOD of circuit books. Wow!

Hamilton Sales Circuit. Can be larger or smaller depending on when this photo was taken. They return the empty and near empty pages to the members every two years.

Don't know how to make this into a link. I hope it works.
Sorry if it doesn't work. It's worth it to copy and paste to read the article though.
