I did receive my booklets of the 7 (incl the Jets) teams today
These stamps were not released for sale until September 3rd. Obviously some outlets started selling them before the release date, which is possible as they do have them in stock prior to the release date, but were not supposed to be sold until September 3. There were 7 different stamp designs in this NHL set released.

Gillesletimbre - If you received your booklets on the 28 Aug 2013 from the Canadian Philatelic Centre someone has obviously made a mistake by mailing the issues early. If you purchased them at a postal outlet the clerk was in error selling the issues on the 28th and not the 3rd of September.
“Canadian Stamp Collecting/Collectionneurs de timbres canadiens Thanks for bringing this (NHL pre-release)to our attention. We’re aware of this situation, we’re investigating and taking action to make sure this doesn’t happen again. We’re also reminding post offices about the importance of respecting on sale dates, which in this case, for the NHL stamps, is September 3, 2013.â€

Does anyone know why these stamps were not made "P" Permanent stamps? It won't be long before there is a rate increase and we will have to add make-up postage.
According to the latest from Canada Post, they are making the definitives P-rate and are experimenting with making the commems an actual numbered value. I am not sure why they are doing this, other than tomake people keep the commems and on;y use the defins on mail.
Thoughts?

You may be right David - while the recent Superman, Regiments and Royal baby are "P" stamps, the Christmas St. Anne and Crafts are 63c stamps (along with the NHL).
These stamps, oddly carrying the value of 63c instead of "P", are for sale on eBay, and IN STOCK by the seller:
Has anyone else heard about these stamps? They are not yet on the Canada Post website.
