I've been searching all over the net for historical information about the Conference of Socialist Postal and Telecommunications Ministers. DDR issued a set of stamps on May 30th, 1959 to commemorate this event which to my understanding occurred that particular year in the DDR.
I've found other issues from other countries for other years commemorating the Conference (held in various Communist countries over the years).
BUT - I can't find information on the conference itself.
The only place I did find it was in a newspaper archives and you have to have an online subscription to that newspaper - which I don't intend to do to read a one paragraph article!
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
