I am interested in finding anyone who might collect the 42 rpf Hitler Head that was issued in the fall of 1944. I collect it on cover, including it's Bohemia Moravia counterpart.

Normally it is found on registered covers since the 42 Reichs pfennig amount of the stamp makes up one of the common correct registered mail rates. Additional postage would have been added for the higher services of course.

This German cover was registered and postmarked on December 8, 1944. I think the earliest usage I have is from September 1944 and the latest is April 1945.

Here is another cover from Bohemia and Moravia franked with the counterpart stamp I mentioned, postmarked on February 27, 1945.



Currently, I would like to find either stamp franking a registered mail receipt card or package receipt card.
