I have a rookie question about invoices. I sold my first stamp via the approval book. I was so excited that I sent an invoice right away without thinking the customer might want to purchase more. So I've waited and I haven't seen anything in PayPal, and I've not heard from the customer about payment. When I look at the invoice status I see it says SENT. I have requested that payments be sent within 10 days of purchase. That 10 days will be in 4 days.

What happens now? Do I send another invoice? Where would I go for help to collect funds? Or do I just relist the stamp or just leave it as is and wait for the time to be up and then who would I contact to get help?

Told you I was a rookie, can you help with any suggestions? Day Dreaming

Thanks,
Luree

re: Invoice Question

Since you give buyers 10 days to pay, you need to wait 10 days at least before you do anything. If you do not hear from the buyer in 10 days, contact him through private message, and see what's going on. If your buyer is in the path of the current winter storm, he may be buried in snow right now, or out of electricity.

re: Invoice Question

Thanks Michael. One would think after a few years I would develop the patience gene, but my impatience slips up on me. I will wait for the 10 days to go by and then PM the buyer. I always hope all is well with my customer.
