Did you change anything in your 'Set Up Terms' since the time the previous invoice was created?
If so, you cannot combine new items to the old invoice. All terms must be exact in order to add items to an invoice.
If changes were made to your terms you would have to send out two separate invoices.

I reopened an unpaid invoice to add additional items purchased by a buyer. When the list of newly purchased items appeared, the instructions stated to select the items to add to the invoice. There was no box in the left column to click on to select an item, and the "Select All" option did not work either.
