I am unfamiliar with the site "wetransfer." I went to the site but was hesitant about clicking a "download" button without more information. Would you please provide more information about this site? It appears to be a site which facilitates the transfer of large files from point A to Point B, but with nothing more I will want reassurances prior to using it.
Richaaard Novick is our resident autograph expert, and he's written and showcased them on these pages before. I hope he weighs in; and, if not, please contact him privately. I am sure he'd be happy to share with you.
There is also a very small contingent of collectors of designer autograpshs among Christmas seal afficianados.

The site "wetransfer" is a free file transfer site. I've been using it for several years now and find it to be perfectly safe - no Viruses / Trojans / Malware etc. You only have to put up with some advertizing which in no way affects the download process and is how they pay the bills. I hope this helps. Thanks!
Exactly what I wanted, Eddie! Cannot be too careful these days. Thanks!
Here is the link for Richard's article on autographed stamps. It is an excellent read.

Nice autographs, but I'm trying to figure out the connection between the people who signed the stamps and the stamps themselves.
Hello, I’m a new member with a question about an autographed stamp collection.
The autographs are of famous classical musicians / conductors / opera singers and were collected throughout the 1940’s. They are all signed on plate blocks of the same era.
The autographs in the book are as follows:
1. Robert Merrell - (on 3 cent stamps)
2. Irene Jessner -(on 2 cent stamps)-Dated Oct 6, 1946
3. Jan Pierce - (on 1 cent stamps)
4. Jussi Bjurling - (on 5 cent stamps)
5. Serge Jarroff - (on 5 cent stamps)
6. James Melton - (on 1 cent stamps)
7. Rose Bampton - (on 3 cent stamps)
------------------------------------
There are four autographs on this one plate block of 3 cent stamps dated 1946.
8. (Nurhan Adrian, Shahan Adrian, Arthur Feidler, Nicholas A. Rasetzki)
--------------------------------------------
9. Friz Krissler - (on 4 cent stamps)
10. Helen Traubel - (on 1 cent stamps)
11. Rise Stevens - (on 1 cent stamps)
12. Patrice Muncel - (on 1 cent stamps)
-------------------------------------------
Note: the Muncel autograph comes with a hand written note from Patrice Muncel stating that this is the most unusual request she has ever seen. (dated April 1946)
-------------------------------------------
13. Lily Pons - (on 3 cent stamps)
14. Eleanor Steber - (on 1 cent stamps)
15. Herbert Janssen - (on 1 cent stamps)
At the moment I can not attach photos as the file sizes are too large and I do not yet know how to make them smaller.
However, if anyone is interested in seeing this collection you can use this link:
http://we.tl/nE27O2dxI3 (cut and paste into your browser)
which will take you to a site called "wetransfer" once there you can simply download ALL the photos I currently have.
Any help or advice in determining the value of this collection would be greatly appreciated – thanks!
