Some have actual company names on the logo.
I have seen the last 2 before. The Statue of Liberty one was used as an advert. For Liberty Bonds and the last one was an acknowledgement of donation. They would fall under Ephemera (paper collectables).
Thanks for the info on the last two on the first set of images. I know to call them ephemera in general, but is there a more specific term that these might be called, given their purpose? Ephemera is such a broad term.
Peter,
I believe the are display box label's or proofs of labels. Like the old fruit carton labels. Have you been able to determine the type of printing used.

Good suggestions guys! I like proofs especially. Some are marked Litho on the bottom and are numbered. All are on regular weight glossy paper. I have about 40 of these, the majority being for broom companies.
A set of 33 different sold on ebay 5/8/2008........billed as labels.
keep Googling.....
Sorry can't be of any help Peter....
Mike, what terms did you search on Google? I found nothing there or eBay. I tried labels, and advertising cachets, forms, paper, and labels but saw nothing like these at either. Thanks.

All were obtained by searching "broom labels" in Google images.
Thanks Bobby! Advertising Art. I like that.

I have a Samsung S-III, Mike. I use it to take pictures of my ear when I try to answer the darn thing.
I am impressed with the range of knowledge among our members, so I am hoping someone would be able to tell me what to call these. I thought "cachets" but that just doesn't fit. They appear to be templates of advertising designs; do you think "template" is the right term? Any opinion or suggestion is welcome! Thanks.
