Everyone must be chomping at the bit for another clue, by now.
Please don't forget these clues have been "enlarged" to aid those among us with lesser eye sight than when we were years younger. Having mentioned that, here comes that next great clue.
Mike
OK, so there have been over 50 views of this subject without the hint of a guess. I "guess" that would indicate we need a little more in the area of clues.
That added a lot of color to the screen, didn't it?
Mike
Sorry, but I'm going to have to pull the plug on this MSQ, since I just discovered this item is not shown in the Scott's catalog's. I did find it in Zumstein, but just a description, no picture. I don't have the Michel's that covers Switzerland, so can't check that either.
I'll get another on going PDQ for all of you that were trying to figure this out.
Mike
Geez Mike - I spent three hours searching for that sucker today! Hmph.
Kelly,
You probably would have never found that item, since it only received a mention at the bottom of the page in the Zumstein catalog.
Here's a chance for you to win another one, since I am starting another quiz, just as soon as I finish this message.
Good luck,
Mike
That last quiz was a pretty good one and was won by one of the two the people that wanted a Stamp Quiz for Idiots. Well, it turned out she was no idiot after all, but a genius and picked up a great prize for her efforts.
This quiz is from one single piece of imperf paper, so that should eliminate what, 90% of the Scott's catalog, probably 95 - 97% in reality. This winner will also win the object of the quiz, which also has a nice CV, and also eliminates over half of Scott's listings.
You must identify the stamp using any catalog's number, or the country, date and year of issue, to positively identify the item in question.
EVERYONE IS ALLOWED TO TRY AND WIN THIS ITEM!!!!
It would be appreciated if someone from the good old USA would jump in there and keep this item here in the states, plus the postage sending all of these prizes outside of the US is getting expensive. LOL
